A rare and highly collectable Khamseh-Hamedan prayer rug, hand-knotted in western Persia around 1930. This charming tribal piece features a striking stepped prayer niche enclosing a beautifully detailed floral Tree of Life composition. Rich madder reds, soft salmon pinks, deep indigo blues and warm ivory highlights combine to create a vibrant yet harmonious palette. The geometric tribal border and authentic village craftsmanship give this rug exceptional character, while its immaculate condition makes it an increasingly scarce example of early 20th-century Persian weaving.
