This hand-knotted Afghan runner features a traditional Turkmen Dolatabad design with repeating geometric medallions arranged across a rich red field and framed by a strong tribal border. Its deep burgundy, black and earthy tones give the rug a warm, authentic character well suited to hallways, entrances and traditional interiors.

Woven in Afghanistan circa 1980, the rug is crafted with a durable wool pile and remains in immaculate condition. Its fine traditional workmanship, strong construction and classic tribal design make it both highly decorative and practical for everyday use.
