This transitional Safavid rug is a contemporary designer piece, inspired by a famous European rug designer's work and the rich heritage of Safavid art. Featuring asymmetrical knots and an erased concept in design which draws from a 16th-century Safavid rug fragment. Hand knotted in a specialist  studio in Jaipur, India, the rug is custom made using  handspun wool pile, ensuring a luxurious texture and durability.
