A rare and beautifully detailed Aliabad Yalameh rug from southern Persia, featuring a striking sequence of geometric diamond medallions across a deep indigo field. Rich coral, ivory and blue medallions are surrounded by finely arranged floral and tribal motifs, while the distinctive multicolored border gives the piece exceptional character and visual depth.
Hand-knotted using the traditional Qashqai weave, this rug displays the strong tribal craftsmanship associated with southern Persian weaving. Natural vegetable dyes create beautifully nuanced colours, particularly through the deep blues, warm reds, greens and soft ivory tones. Its unusually fine detailing and balanced composition make this a particularly desirable example of Aliabad Yalameh weaving.

For purchases exceeding 20kg, shipping charges will apply. Customers will be notified of the freight cost prior to dispatch and may proceed with the purchase only after confirming acceptance of the shipping charges.
