A finely detailed Jaipur carpet inspired by 16th-century Safavid floral designs, featuring an elegant all-over arrangement of stylised flowers and scrolling motifs. The classical Persian-inspired composition is given a refined contemporary character through its sophisticated drawing and balanced decorative layout.
Hand-knotted in Jaipur, India, using fine New Zealand wool and bamboo silk pile, the rug is woven with approximately 400,000 asymmetrical knots, allowing excellent definition throughout the intricate floral pattern. The combination of wool and bamboo silk creates a soft texture with gentle lustre and depth.
