A distinctive fine Khorrasan Balouch rug from Quchan, Persia, dating to circa 1970. The design features a bold series of geometric medallions framed by multiple tribal borders, worked in deep red, black and ivory tones. Its strong graphic character and compact proportions give the rug a striking traditional presence.

Hand-knotted in Persia, this rug reflects the robust construction and expressive tribal drawing associated with Balouch weaving from the Khorrasan region. Its dense structure and hard-wearing character make it a particularly durable vintage piece, well suited to an entrance, study, hallway or smaller living space.
