A distinctive Afghan Turkaman rug inspired by the geometric artistry of 15th-century Mamluk carpets. The commanding central medallion is surrounded by fragmented architectural and floral motifs, creating an intentionally aged and almost archaeological appearance. Soft grey and sage tones are enlivened by deep red, indigo, gold and green accents, giving the rug a sophisticated balance between historic design and contemporary styling.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan using traditional Turkaman weaving techniques, the rug is coloured with natural vegetable dyes that produce beautifully varied and softly nuanced tones. Its unusual interpretation of classical Mamluk design, combined with the restrained palette and textured appearance, makes it particularly suitable for both modern and eclectic interiors.

All you need to do is email us within 48 hours of receiving your rug and then package it up, ensuring it’s watertight just as it was when you received it.

We’ll even arrange to have it collected from your address so that you don’t need to worry about getting it back to us!
